More dates coming soon
The workshop aims to create a playful, relaxed environment by exploring colour through simple shapes and textures, providing the tools for mixing and printing colours with various silkscreens and stencils, exploring on newsprint in the first half of the workshop.
We will take a break for lunch and reflect on the work.
After the break you have the option to print on a choice of textiles or continue with selection of paper. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to unleash your inner creativity and have some fun.
"It is the relationships of colour that are the real objects of [her] studies,"
Sonia Delaunay
Print and Dye Services
The studio is a textile printing and dye service with a six-meter repeat printing table and a 150L dye vat for sampling and small production. The workshop is in Brockley, SE London, a short walk from the overground station, so it’s easy to come in and see what’s going on.We develop print and dye samples to create colour options or match to existing colours, establish suitable print and dye processes, experiment with scale if necessary and arrange artwork in CAD for repeat printing and registration. There will be an opportunity to review the samples and decide the best options to move forward before we provide finished lengths or pieces ready for cutting or sewing.Contact the studio for more info or to arrange an appointment.
